Lunga the queer superhero! I loved this film so much I watched it on back-to-back nights. I also enjoyed Neighbouring Sounds (2012) and Aquarius (2016) by the same director. Shades of Jodorowsky and Buñuel. Side note: Udo Kier turns up just about everywhere (well, does he have a name, or should I call him 'lawyer?')
Menarca (2020, Lillah Halla)
Coming of age fable only 22 minutes long but packs a punch. A somewhat satisfying ending.
